How do I make a Talking Pal, uh, talk?

Make sure Mode2 is turned off. Click the Mode2 button - if it pops up, you're all set!

Right click a note, then select Pitch.

Find the wave button next to a button that says T. Carefully draw out a wavy line across the graph. Will be less smooth on lower spec/older computers, and more smooth on higher spec/newer computers.

Press OK.

Repeat for all notes.

Find the pen icon with the pen "writing".

Draw a wavy line over all the notes.

Repeat for each sentence. 

Hold down ALT while moving the mouse and left clicking to smooth the wave a bit. 

To reset it to not speak in an area where you didn't want your Talking Pal to speak, hold down the right mouse button and move the mouse. (This does not work on trackpads - you MUST have an external mouse to use this feature.)
