MechaNeko

MechaNeko is a virtual pet/desktop toy developed by Hoshii-ne for the Mapel platform. It is the Chiikit equivalent to Shimeji desktop characters.

In MechaNeko, you take care of a virtual pet, usually referred to as a Mecha. The virtual pet in question looks similar to the Jetix logo except it has two eyes instead of one. But, if you rename any of your Classic breed Mechas to Jay, you unlock a special breed where the Mecha looks like the Jetix logo. This easter egg was introduced with the "naming your Mechas" update of 2024.
