Pikon is a brand of cell phone initially sold exclusively in city Chikakimu, although there are people who imported them to Mainland. In 2026, the phones were sold across the Chiikit Union. The phones are also sold in Cornucopia under the "MyMindset" brand.
These phones are similar in shape to the Nintendo DS family of systems, but have a different OS (which looks like the 3DS or DSi OSes depending on the model. P-models are 3DS-like, Y-models are like a DSi, and the old Q-models are similar to the early DS+Lite models) and the ability to call, text, and use data. The most affordable, commonly used, and talked about supported model, P1, is similar in design to the original 3DS model from 2011. There is another model in the shape of an original 2DS, model P3, commonly deployed as a work phone.
Pikon cell phones have various features compared to an average Chiikit cell phone, such as music streaming, social networking, and other features typically found in an average real-life smartphone. The device is also capable of running Nintendo DS and 3DS software, which makes the phone popular among its small userbase (~730 users, a bad estimate). The music streaming is only available in city Chikakimu and won't work in Mainland. It is known that people used to use Pikons to stream Bebo Akapane's early music from the YANLOID years. The other half of the userbase only bought it to run DS and 3DS software. For example, Niya has a Pikon just to get his dose of Dr. Mario in.
In Borakimu, the older models (pre-YX) are sold as PicoFone cell phones and have just as much support as the P-models despite having weaker hardware.
