She lived in the former room of Bebo Akapane from when he was a YANLOID at one point but currently lives with Phoebe, and at night she's seen at the arcade, usually working nights to make sure it's open 24 hours. Marula, when working at the Arcade, can be seen usually plugged into a wall. Marula plays ukulele as part of their group The Telemarketers. Originally a They Might Be Giants cover band, the group began to sing their own songs later on, and even performed with Passo and the K-Tones. The Telemarketers and the K-Tones both share the same bassist (and drummer)!

Marula has insomnia and has had it for her entire life. When Marula was younger, Homestar Runner aired in the 00:00 to 4:00 time slot on PTC. This was how Marula learned English at a young age, but has always had a harder time speaking it until recently as she picked up a dialect which was a mix of Homestar's speech impediment, Strong Bad's speech pattern, Coach Z's mispronunciations, and the pitch of Marzipan's voice.

Phoebe

Married wife. She and Phoebe will hang out. Typical activities include reading Homestuck, watching Homestar, and being VERY cringe.

Topaz

Best friend. Marula works at his arcade. It's already been mentioned several times.

Zetto

Marula doesn't care much but is salty about some of his decisions regarding real-world import content.

Passo

Huge fan of her music and also has an autographed Chikopon learning toy.

May have witnessed in the arcade once or twice.
