The Average Day
(Starring... YOU!)
...actually just a bit of the morning.

He stares at himself in the mirror, and asks his reflection a couple of questions
"Is there NOTHING I can't do?" "What is my SOLE PURPOSE?" "...hello?"
There was no answer; he walked to the MB. It was a ritual for him to ask his reflection this every morning.
The distinctive aroma of coffee from the drip coffee maker filled Zetto's apartment from the kitchen; as you flip through channels on the merubox*.
(*A merubox is a localized name for a TV set... think of a 50s TV set in particular.)
And the very thing you saw after letting the set warm up was a set of singing screws known as Repair-its. You were in for a treat. Jangly banjo music, infodumping about how everything worked, and, get THIS, banging tunes...
The news was a lot better than what you were used to. Instead of wars and politics, it was positive and uplifting stuff; people helping others out, information about pets that need homes, and so on.
Another channel was also airing the Repair-its.
It was an extremely common syndicated program in this digital world... it was almost like you couldn't escape them. But then again, you could easily tune into something else; but good luck finding a network that's Repair-it free. A very daunting task.
Zetto brought out a children's floor mat piano. You think nothing of it until Zetto tells you to tune into channel 42.
It was an educational channel with various lessons throughout the day.
The morning program was a music lesson for the young crowd.
The program's producers will provide you a specific, yet commonly found synth; a wood-grained instrument with colorful labeled keys, monophonic beeps and boops played in a sawtooth fashion, and to top it off, a tuning dial to make sure the instrument is in perfect pitch. And a volume dial.
Zetto had no arms, so he had to use a floor mat piano. Instead of analog sawtooth action, he gets the glorious sounds of what is supposed to be a grand piano. It doesn't sound grand AT ALL; it sounds more like a children's toy. Because it is.
He doesn't care that it's a piano mat for children.
It is, however, an accessible way for Zetto to play music other than singing in his weak, tired-sounding voice.
Press the spacebar to play music.
Click the instruments to change them.
Activate the backing track by hitting "Play".
(Having trouble playing along?)
He was SHREDDING. You ever see someone in their hundreds, playing a children's piano mat so well? Well now you have. It continued until the program was over; Zetto played along with the other songs in the program.
They were all Chiikit folk tunes. And you are going to hear them a LOT.
