Abarunu

Abarunu is a channel similar to infant-centered channels from the real world. It teaches life skills and plays soothing programming at night. Programs include “The Show”, “Screw Those Possible Giants” and “PicTales”. It got its start in April 2008 through a service known as Satebon/Parabon - a free service where all you needed was a dish that plugged into the merubox. Later on, it was added to Meru-Uzune in 2011.

Tara Akapane is an ambassador for Abarunu - she also does narration for their commercials. Her second child, Bebo Akapane, was one of the testers prior to the channel's launch
