Before you begin, read this:
Tokani (now known as Starlets) is a network designed for LMIs to watch with their companions. The programming and channel is known to be similar to Abarunu but 10x more deranged. Programs include Pixel the Pixel, Sing Along, and others. In the corner of the screen is a star that changes colors depending on the program that's airing. For example, a blue star represents an educational program such as Pixel the Pixel, an orange star represents a program that teaches how to socialize, such as Shaliki (back when it aired), a pink star represents a program such as Sing Along, and a color-changing star for bedtime programming. The network costs about 1.5 kanoumu ($15 US, convert to your own currency) a month, but new owners of an LMI (both purchased or found in the wild) get the channel for free for 3 months by reading off a code displayed on-screen to one of two TV providers (KGparabola or MeruUzune). After the 3 month period is a 9-month cooldown period. During this time, you have to pay for Starlets on its own.
The network was originally owned by Kura Group, and in 2025, LMI acquired the network. There was speculation from various blobs saying that from KompiMB's launch in Fall 2024 up until January 2025, all Tokani aired was mostly The Fixies, with sporadic airings of Pixel the Pixel and Sing Along. This was confirmed by Marula's boyfriend Topaz. Tara's mother also archives Starlets programming.
During mid-January of 2025, the channel rebranded to Starlets, keeping the previous graphics from the Tokani era.
