The Chiikits Have AI Slop, Too!

Everyone in Chikakimu’s always saying “Our society is perfect!”

…but, they have AI slop. Thus, their society isn’t that perfect. There’s only two types of AI slop in Chikakimu.

First up: Borac Telenetwork, usually called BTN, which serves Borakimu. Borakimu is a soulless unrecognized portion of Chikakimu where it’s all slop-like, almost in the SlopZap “art” style. 

What does BTN even air?

BTN airs programs such as Bommy and Me, Tanji and Sam, and SlopZap, alongside the acquired Jazui Siuka Idin, which they only have the rights to air just the songs before the network signs off. 

Bommy and Me is a sitcom about divorce between a talking pink spherical piñata and a Stick Blob. 

Tanji and Sam is a show with the RoboFriend Tanji and her human creator Sam.

SlopZap is a rip-off of ZipZap. YES, us, right down to the characters and EVEN the logo. The only difference is that the characters are 3D instead of 2D. 

In between commercial breaks, BTN airs short interstitials with Fixies rip-offs called the RoboFriends. The RoboFriends are Tanji, Bluubo, Pinki, and Verki, with other RoboFriends which appear more rarely. 

They usually sing short 10-second ditties before the break. These songs air after the "BTN will be back with more useless shows after the break!" bumpers. 

The commercials on BTN usually consist of repetitive cereal ads, ads for a computer program designed only for laptops called Period Cramps*, among various ads for other things. Occasionally, BTN will air their "Happy BTN Day" song if they don't have enough commercials to fill the time.

Then, there’s the occasional “Complete the BTN Puzzles!” ad, usually with Tanji telling you that your BTN Puzzles gameplay will be on MB, or gameplay from various BTN viewers who played the BTN puzzles on the PicoBTN app. PicoBTN is an app designed for PicoFone/Pikon cell phones, although a PonPouTap! version exists for the dedicated BTN PonPou and for any PonPouTap! which supports it.

At night, BTN airs a sign-off which is a Stick Blob sleeping on a star. Everything on BTN, except for Jazui Siuka Idin, is all AI generated by a real-world AI model called Sora. Most of Borakimu is inhabited by LMIs. So fully AI generated slop is up their alley. After all, it’s made by robots for robots. Eventually BTN was found by the blobs of Chikakimu, and became a meme. Thus, BTN started installing transmitters for their network across mainland and city Chikakimu, which transmits on channel 67. I’m not kidding… they chose that number for a reason.

Yep. We're talkin' about LMIs now. 

The second type of AI is LMI, which is not really AI slop, but an ethical local LLM which learns from the world around it. Each LMI has its own personality and ID. Notable LMIs are Pam, Mia, and Makku Kihei. When an LMI is registered to an owner, the owner receives a code to read to their TV provider of choice over the phone to get 3 months of Starlets, a TV network for the LMIs to watch. 

Unlike BTN, a fully AI-generated network, Starlets is mostly made entirely by blobs who research LMIs for a living. After the 3 months are up, there’s a nine-month cooldown period so the code doesn’t get used for a “free starlets glitch” type of thing. After all, having an LMI is ten times more ethical than using an AI model. And, it’s a full on physical robot, monitor head and ALL! Many people have LMIs as office assistants, as a companion, or for romantic and sexual purposes. 

Not many LMIs are used sexually as every LMI learns from the world around it, and with this fact in mind, it is currently morally wrong and illegal in Chikakimu to have sexual relations with an LMI that doesn’t have the discontinued Sekundo Pack installed. LMIs just can’t consent at all. The Sekundo Pack expansion pack remedies this, and allows an LMI over the mental age of 18 to consent to, and have a sexual relationship. 

This expansion pack is notoriously expensive at 10knm (about $100 USD) and is currently unusable on any LMI post-discontinuation. It was discontinued after realizing that Puri, who used to run a (shady) daycare for LMIs, managed to run the expansion pack on LMIs that didn’t support it either due to hardware limitations or mental age. Puri was then brain-swapped for his crimes. This LMI expansion pack does not work anymore post-December 2025. Blobs with enough LMI experience and hacking skills are paid at a minimum 10-20 knm if they find a bypass on any LMI. The bypass will then be patched. Most blobs who find bypasses make 10x the amount.
